Our services are driven by you - our users, and whilst we always strive to offer the best service we can, your comments and suggestions enable us to keep improving our provision.

We regularly request feedback from all our stakeholders after they engage with our services, so you may find you receive an email requesting you to complete a short online form after attending a careers appointment, careers fair or other event on campus.

You can also submit any feedback - whether positive or negative - at any time using our anonymous online form.  We aim to respond within three working days of receipt of your form.

If you have a complaint about our services you can find out how we deal with these in our complaints procedure.

Alongside the comments we receive from you, we also regularly survey other key stakeholders including employers, alumni and staff.

We regularly post feedback below highlighting ways in which we have acted upon your feedback and improved our services.

"You don't run enough appointments throughout the week"

In 2017-18, we extended our appointment provision, adding hundreds more appointments to our schedule, including:

  • Offering new careers guidance appointments each Friday at the Strand.
  • Offering more ring-fenced appointments for some departments/faculties.
  • Late night opening until 19:00 on Thursdays in Autumn & Spring terms.
  • Launching 'Careers Lounges' - informal drop-in sessions in departments
"Your offices are difficult to find on campus"

We've made big efforts to ensure our Careers Centre at the Strand Campus is much better signposted across King's.

In July 2018, we moved into brand new purpose-built accommodation in the Bush House South-East Wing, where we join other student-facing services including:

  • Student Services
    • King's Counselling Service
    • King's Wellbeing Service
    • Disability Advisory Service
    • International Student Advice Team
  • King's NHS Health Centre
  • English Language Centre
  • KCLSU

This will enable us to deliver more services linked with our colleagues across other student facing functions and we will benefit from expanded facilities to deliver more appointments and events.

"Your website is difficult to navigate and links are broken"

We relaunched a new, easier-to-navigate website in April 2018, alongside our new King's Careers Hub containing our information and resources.

"It's difficult to get to the Strand Campus to book appointments"

In September 2016, we launched King's CareerConnect - our new online system which allows you to book appointments wherever you are in the world.

We have also opened a new office at Guy's Campus expanding our provision and offering more opportunities to meet with a Careers Consultant, as well as continuing to offer appointments at Waterloo and Denmark Hill Campuses.
