Happy, healthy and socially connected

King's Wellbeing are here to help you get the most out of your university experience by being as happy, healthy and socially connected as possible here at King's College London.

Coming to University is often a time of change, transition and challenge but it should also be a positive experience that helps you grow. Sometimes you may need help along the way and that's what they're here for.

They provide a positive and empowering space for you to identify and achieve your goals through one to one coaching, workshops and events.

King's Wellbeing


Anything that is worrying you or disrupting your studies

Counselling offers a safe, confidential and supportive space, to help you explore your problems, share and gain insight into your feelings, thoughts and behaviour.

Counselling can help you identify and gain a greater understanding of what is bothering you. The counsellor or MHA can help you gain a different perspective and work with you to make appropriate changes and choices that feel right for you.

This is a free and confidential service.

King's Counselling


 Gyms, recreation and performance sports

King's Sport deliver a range of opportunities for students to get involved in sport and physical activity.

They run the recreational sessions through their BeActive programme, all the way to supporting top performing athletes through University Sports Scholarships.

They also operate a number of Gyms, located at our Waterloo and London Bridge campuses and across selected Halls of Residence.

King's Sport are responsible for:

  • King's Move | Join the other 7000 members earning rewards for staying active
  • BeActive & BeActive Halls | Non-competitive recreational programme
  • Health & Fitness | Operating two gyms, with London Bridge new for the 2017 Academic Year
  • Performance Sport | Supporting high performing teams and atheletes
