The focus of his research was on optimising locations for health services using alternative distance measures and GIS-based location-allocation models. Whilst studying for his PhD, Emeka worked as a Research Assistant in a project for the Centre on Migration and Policy Studies (COMPAS), at the University of Oxford. Emeka also completed his MSc in Geographical Information Science (GIS) at the University of Leicester and has worked in various organisations as a GIS data officer.
