Outcome measures in Palliative Care: Using the POS family of measures in Clinical Practice & Research workshops

Professor Irene Higginson and the POS team are proud to invite you to the Palliative care Outcome Scale (POS) workshops to advance clinical care and research. These workshops will be held on Thursday, 9 and Friday, 10 February 2017.

The POS family of measures are tools to measure patients' physical symptoms, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs, and provision of information and support at the end of life. The POS is a validated outcome measure which is widely used in palliative care across Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa and America. The POS family of measures are free to use and can be downloaded from the website

These highly interactive workshops are aimed at all professionals in palliative and end-of-life care such as clinicians (nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, allied health professionals, oncologists, GP, physicians), social workers, researchers, managers, commissioners and educators.
