Come and join photo historian and stereoscopy expert Denis Pellerin for a free 3D tribute to Dame Cicely Saunders, in association with the Cicely Saunders Archives at King's College London.
2018 is the centenary year of Dame Cicely Saunders, medical pioneer and alumna of King’s College London who revolutionised care of the dying and is recognised as the founder of the modern hospice movement.
The Cicely Saunders Archives at King's College contains correspondence, notes, reports, research data, diaries, photographs and artefacts relating to the life and work of Dame Cicely Saunders, 1918-2005, Denis Pellerin will showcase material from the archives in 3D.
This event will be followed by an evening lecture on Charles Wheatstone, the inventor of stereoscopy. See here for further details:.
