Graduation at Southwark Cathedral
Dr Farida Malik was awarded a PhD in Palliative Care at the graduation ceremony which took place today at Southwark Cathedral. Farida's PhD was an investigation into the intractable symptom of breathlessness, part of a strand of work on this symptom which is ongoing here at the Institute.

9 MSc students also attended the graduation ceremony. In all 25 of our students were awarded the MSc, PG Diploma or PG Certificate in Palliative Care in 2011 and we congratulate all our students on their hard work, dedication and impressive achievement.
