The global impact of the Palliative care Outcome Scale (POS)
The Palliative care Outcome Scale (POS) is a tool used to measure patients' physical symptoms, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs, and provision of information and support at the end of life.
It is a validated instrument that can be used in clinical care, audit, research and training. It is widely used internationally, including in Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa and America.
Two independent reports have been commissioned to investigate the global impact of the POS and how it is being used to improve care. Please follow the links below to access the reports.
