Data and Outcome Measures Workshop - OACC

On Friday 27 June, over 150 delegates attended a very successful workshop, hosted jointly by the OACC project and Help the Hospices. The Data and Outcome Measurement workshop featured talks from Dr Heather Richardson, National Clinical Director of Help the Hospices, and Dr Fliss Murtagh, Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant in palliative care. All presentations can be accessed on the OACC webpages.

With participants from various different palliative care backgrounds, including hospices, hospitals and community settings, many fruitful discussions took place about the use of outcome measurements in palliative care and the levels of engagement with the OACC project that are being proposed.

To find out more information about the OACC project and how you or your organisation can get involved please email us or follow the action on Twitter using #oaccpalliative.

Given the success and positive feedback we have received so far from this event, the OACC team hope to run more of these workshops in the future for those who were unable to attend. Future workshops may also be run in different parts of the country, please email us for more information.
