Cicely Saunders Institute showcase at EAPC World Congress
The Cicely Saunders Institute has had an impressive total of 32 abstracts accepted for the 14th EAPC (European Association for Palliative Care) World Congress, which takes place from 8 to 10 May 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Six of the accepted abstracts will be presented orally during free communication sessions at the Congress, and twenty six will be presented as posters exhibited at the venue. Congratulations to all involved in submitting these abstracts and disseminating the work of the Institute.
Special congratulations to Christina Ramsenthaler, whose abstract, ‘The Myeloma Patient Outcome Scale (MyPOS) – Longitudinal Validity and Reliability of a Measure of Quality of Life for Clinical Use in Patients with Multiple Myeloma’, received one of two highest average scores. Christina has been invited to present this abstract at a plenary session. All abstracts were scored by independent reviewers.
The EAPC World Congress is a bi-annual event, which brings together clinicians, researchers and educators in the field of palliative care. Over the duration of the Congress, there are plenary talks from experts in the field, free communication sessions, and parallel sessions, there is also a poster exhibition where the work of delegates can be showcased.
