Graduation 2018 and 100% Student Satisfaction for MSc in Palliative Care
The Cicely Saunders Institute are delighted to congratulate all our MSc and PhD Palliative Care graduates, who attended the graduation ceremony at the Barbican Centre on 25 July 2018.
Clare Ellis-Smith and Lesley Henson were awarded their PhD in Palliative Care and Lisa Brighton, one of the MSc graduates, was awarded the Dame Cicely Saunders Prize in Academic Excellence. Since completing the course, many students have already gone on to speak at high profile conferences, publish papers in peer reviewed journals and achieve promotions. We would like to congratulate all of our students on their hard work, dedication and impressive achievements. It has been a pleasure to work with them and see them develop throughout the course. We wish them every success for the future.
This has been a very successful year for the MSc programme, with recent results from the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) reporting that overall student satisfaction has risen to 100% this year. This is a fantastic result and we are hugely grateful for all the support and commitment from colleagues at CSI, St Christopher’s Hospice and invited lecturers for making this success possible.
