Recognised technologies

Recognised technologies tend to be in use by a range of faculties but are not formally supported by CTEL, as they are not currently sustainable or scalable to be supported across King’s. Faculties administer and support these technologies locally. Additional support may be provided via LinkedIn Learning but CTEL provide no formal support, guidance or training. No central support is provided by the IT Service Desk. CTEL collate use cases and can signpost interested staff to guidance and may have advice on how the tool can be used to enhance learning and teaching. The submission of case studies is welcome.

  • IT Support: No IT support is offered for these technologies. Faculties administer and support the technology locally. Contact ctel@kcl.ac.uk for further details.
  • Pedagogical Guidance: Reactive engagement only with King’s community. CTEL are aware of use cases and pedagogical affordances of these technologies but will not engage in active promotion.
  • Training: No formal training offered but CTEL are happy to answer specific questions as relevant.
