This week saw King’s opening the Arcade Garden at Bush House on Strand Campus.

Throughout the summer, the Arcade at Bush House is transformed into a tranquil garden sanctuary open to all, where staff, students and visitors can step off the Strand to pause, rest, study and relax.

During the next few months a programme of free and creative wellbeing workshops are scheduled to take place in the space, these include sessions on watercolour painting, mindful movement, gardening workshops,  a sound and vocal workshop and fragrance making with the Perfume Mistress, where participants will be able to make and take home their own rollerball.

Many of the workshops are scheduled to take place in July, so be sure to sign up to secure a place.

There will also be two further workshops as part of the programme with details to be confirmed. These will be added to the website very soon and you can find further information about each session here.

The Arcade is part of the Cultural Quarter at King’s, and also houses a welcoming café and the Student Union Shop. We hope to see you there, whatever the weather, over the summer.
