At Home in Cultural London

New for 2020, At Home in Cultural London transforms London into an immersive, creative classroom. This online extracurricular experience is designed to connect you to London, and King’s, through arts and culture. From activism to health and wellbeing via digital and urban futures, the six-week participatory course will explore the breadth of ways you can explore, reflect and create in cultural London, wherever you are in the world.

At Home in Cultural London will include bespoke video content from King’s academics and London’s artists and cultural organisations, live creative workshops and small group discussions to enable you to connect with other students.

With a focus on transferrable creative and reflective skills, interdisciplinary thinking and creative enquiry, you will be encouraged to observe, ask questions, and engage with ambiguity. The programme provides opportunities for new and returning students across disciplines to meet and interact, and aims to give you the tools you need to get out and explore the city, whenever you arrive.

The programme is open to all students regardless of faculty, year or level of study. No pre-existing knowledge or experience with arts and culture or London is necessary or expected.

Dates:
  • Enrol now
  • Programme runs from 19 October - 29 November 2020
Methods of teaching:
  • KEATS
  • Microsoft Teams
