We are pleased to announce that Dr Rebekah Amos (University of Birmingham) will deliver a seminar on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and health. Rebekah is a quantitative scientist passionate about mental health and wellbeing in childhood and minority populations (like ethnic and sexual minority groups). Her research broadly focuses on the long-term impact of early life experiences and mediatory mechanisms on the development and progression of mental health issues through the life course. She is also interested in investigating the wider determinants of mental health difficulties in minority populations. Rebekah will talk about her recent work on ACEs and health.
