Aerospace Medicine - A Golden Anniversary and Opportunity
To mark his retirement, Professor David Gradwell of the School of Basic & Medical Biosciences, will be giving a special lecture. Professor Gradwell was appointed Professor of Aerospace Medicine at King's College London in 2012 following a career at the RAF where he became Whittingham Professor of Aviation Medicine and was appointed Queen’s Honorary Surgeon. As editor of “Ernsting's Aviation and Space Medicine, 5th Edition”, Professor Gradwell was awarded 1st prize in the ‘Medicine’ category at the BMA Medical Book Awards 2017.
