The Freeman Air and Space Institute (FASI), King's College London, is delighted to host its second iteration of the Postgraduate Air and Space Conference.

This event will take place in-person on Monday 8th June 2026 in the Council Room, King’s Building, King's College London (Strand Campus).

Registration and coffee will begin at 09:30 and the conference will begin at 10:00.

The day will welcome a number of expert speakers including MA and PhD students from across Europe, bringing diverse knowledge and opinion to their papers.

Our expert panels will explore a range of air and space power themes, including: 

• Autonomy & Authority: Tactical and Operational Shifts in Modern Warfare
• Strategic Dispositions: Systems, Narratives, and Command in Air and Space
• Shifting Orbits: Stability and Security in the Modern Space Domain
• The Changing Nature of Air Power: Deterrence, Security and Innovation

Each panel will be followed by ample time for audience questions and discussion.

From 17:00, an evening drinks reception will take place where attendees can further discuss the day’s conversations and network.
