Air Quality Research in New Zealand

Speaker: Dr Guy Coulson, National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research, New Zealand

New Zealand’s geographic isolation means that there is little transport of pollution from other countries. This presents two advantages; a large proportion of the population is exposed to pollution from a single source e.g. the burning of solid fuel (wood), and pollution behaviour can be studied without interference from outside sources. This talk will present the results of research projects aiming to capitalise on both these advantages.
