For many years, this meeting has highlighted academic excellence, allowing researchers to showcase their work and strengthen collaborative ties.
We are delighted to announce Miss Rachel Bell, Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Freeman Hospital, as guest of honour. Her Cheselden address is titled, “Many hands, One Aorta; Teamwork in Aortic Surgery”.
Miss Bell is Clinical Lead for Vascular Surgery at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and was previously the Clinical Director of Cardiovascular services at St Thomas’ Hospital. She is joint national Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) lead for Vascular and past President of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland. She has been the Chairman of the Circulation Foundation and past President of the British Society of Endovascular Therapy.
Abstracts may be submitted to be considered for oral presentations; prizes will be awarded for the best presentations.
The dress code for the evening will be Black Tie.
The Scientific Meeting will be hosted at the Academic Department of Vascular Surgery, located on the 1st floor, North Wing of St Thomas’ Hospital. The Dinner will be held at Governor’s Hall, located on the ground floor of the Hospital.
