The MA International Child Rights & Development (ICRD) programme team invite you to celebrate Children’s Day with us on 20th November.
Our theme is Championing child wellbeing in a time of crisis, which is the UK’s theme for the day. We are using the opportunity in part to celebrate the work of our recent Alumni, so many of whom directly contribute to this invaluable work.

Meet the speakers
Amy Ashlee (Alumna) SOS Children’s Villages UK, working in crises around the world.
Eva Michaelson (Alumna) Baobab Centre for Young Survivors in Exile, a therapeutic community offering holistic support to young survivors of human rights abuses seeking refuge in the UK.
Alexandra Rutishauser-Perera (guest lecturer) Action Against Hunger UK, ensuring children’s nutritional needs are met in emergencies.
Margaret Wilbanks (Alumna) Windle International, education management in UNHCR refugee camps and host communities in East Africa.
Following presentations from the speakers, there will be time for questions before refreshments.
