Competing for Major Master's and Doctoral Scholarships Workshop

Considering applying to a major scholarship program like Swartzman, Santander, Caixa, Gates, IELTS, or Fulbright? These scholarship programs are very demanding, and crucially the application processes are different and have greater requirements than other scholarships.

In this workshop, Javier Terrero, War Studies alumnus and Caixa Program recipient 2019-20 will introduce the experience, process and finer details and qualifictions needed for the application. Then Dr Pablo de Orellana will talk through the rather peculiar and specific requirements from advisors and referees. They will also discuss a few strategic approaches to considering applying to these funds, the timing and logic of applications, and how to go about it. There will then be ample time for Q&A.
