Open to King's/Language Centre Students and Staff only

In this workshop, you will be introduced to ideas from the field of historical linguistics, including how we can describe relationships between languages, and how words and their meanings change over time. You will learn how to make connections between words in English (or other modern languages) and Ancient Greek or Latin in order to improve your knowledge of vocabulary in those languages.

Target audience:

  • Beginner Ancient Greek and Latin students.
