Fourth National Adaptation Programme: Strengthening the UK’s approach to climate adaptation

Bush House, Strand Campus, London

Join us for a half-day event to share evidence and insights for the UK’s next adaptation programme.

The UK’s National Adaptation Programme (NAP) sets out the actions that the government and partners will take to adapt to climate change. NAP3 covers 2023-2028, and work on NAP4 is already beginning.

This event will bring together policy officials, academics and practitioners in adaptation to help frame NAP4. Participants will share insights, exchange ideas, support policy development and build connections across the adaptation community.

This event is a collaboration between King’s College London and MACC Hub.

The Maximising UK Adaptation to Climate Change (MACC) Hub supports the UK in translating research into action, sharing knowledge on “what works” in adaptation to inform local and national decision-making.

King’s College London has a community of researchers with expertise in advancing climate adaptation and resilience in the UK and internationally, making the University an ideal convenor for this event.
