Demography is changing the religious landscape in Europe and in Britain. But how are these changes likely to play out, and what could they mean for social integration?

Drawing on his work at Pew Research Center, Conrad Hackett will reveal the state of religious identity and commitment in Europe, before a panel discusses the implications for how different communities co-exist in modern society.

Speakers include:

  • Linda WoodheadProfessor in the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion, and Director of the Institute for Social Futures at Lancaster University. 

  • Sunder KatwalaDirector of British Future.

  • David VoasProfessor of Social Science and Head of Department at UCL.

  • Bobby Duffy, Professor of Public Policy and Director of the Policy Institute, King's College London (chair).

This event will be followed by a drinks reception.

This is a free event, which means we overbook to allow for no-shows and to avoid empty seats. While we generally do not have to turn people away, this does mean we cannot guarantee everyone a place. Admission is on a first come, first served basis.
