On 7th of November 2019 at 18.00 The ARCC Anglo-Russian Culture club in collaboration with King's College London presents the evening of poetry with the Russian poet, writer and journalist Tatiana Shcherbina. Contemporary poetry is experiencing a radical change - it is no longer the voice of a nation and does not attract big audiences. The great literary personas of the past are being replaced by diverse digital communities. Tatiana Shcherbina will read selected poems from her collection Chronicles and present her new poems.

Shcherbina was born in Moscow. She has published six volumes of poetry and prose in Russian and two poetry collections in French. She worked for Radio Liberty in 1989-1994, lived in Paris, Munich, and in the USA. Her work, including the novel Multiple Personalities, has been widely translated. The talk will be in Russian, English and French. The location - King's College London, Bush House (S) 2.01.
