Join King's Artist Rebecca Lynch, resident in the Department of Informatics, and Professor Elizabeth Sklar in on 11 December for Predictable You, an experimental, drop-in writing workshop using WiFi-enabled devices.
By using predictive text generators, Rebecca and Elizabeth will guide participants through inputting different kinds of data that is then used to write stories. Topics can be anything from political tweets to shopping lists. The session will discuss concerns such as implicit bias, privacy and data collection.
The event is drop-in and booking is not required. Please note a WiFi-enabled device is required to fully participate, such as laptop, smart phone or tablet.
Predictable You is part of the exhibition programme for King's Artists – New Thinking, New Making at the Arcade in Bush House, open until 15 December.
