Prepare for Postgraduate Information Session - 13 July 2026

Online

Start your postgraduate journey at King’s with confidence.

Join us for an interactive online information session introducing Prepare for Postgraduate (PfP) — King’s two‑week academic preparation programme designed to help you transition smoothly into postgraduate study.

Whether you’re returning to university after time spent working, travelling or caring for family, or entering UK higher education for the first time, PfP will help you build the academic skills, confidence and familiarity you need to make the most of your degree from day one.

During the session, you’ll discover how PfP helps you:

Strengthen essential academic and study skills

  • Develop core postgraduate skills including criticality in writing, working effectively with academic sources, reading selectively and with purpose, taking lecture notes that support deeper learning, and contributing confidently to seminar discussions.

Feel at home at King’s

  • Get to know King’s campuses, libraries and virtual learning environment before your programme begins, helping you feel prepared and settled when teaching starts.

Build your network and connect with fellow students

  • Meet peers from around the world, start forming your postgraduate community, and get to know London as you prepare for life in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

Understand the programme structure and practical details

  • Learn more about the two‑week programme running 7–18 September 2026, eligibility requirements, application process, and key deadlines.

You’ll also have the chance to ask questions directly to members of the King’s team, who will guide you through what to expect and how PfP can support your transition into postgraduate study.

We look forward to welcoming you!

King's is ranked 3rd in London, 5th in the UK and 31st in the world (QS 2026).
