Lecture series: Global voices in International Law: A Fireside Chat with Professor Attila Tanzi

This event forms part of a CIGAD lecture series and will take the form of a fireside-style conversation with Professor Attila M. Tanzi. Professor Tanzi is Chair of International Law at the University of Bologna and an Associate Member of 3VB in London. One of the most distinguished international lawyers of his generation, Professor Tanzi has been involved in numerous inter-State, investor-State, and commercial disputes, acting as counsel, advocate, and arbitrator in proceedings before various international courts and tribunals, including the International Court of Justice and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea. He regularly advises governments, international organisations, and corporations on complex questions of international law.
Professor Tanzi will be in conversation with Professor Christian J. Tams, Professor of Public International Law at King’s College London and President of the European Society of International Law, and Lucy Jones, a barrister in practice at 11KBW and a member of the Attorney General’s Public International Law Panel.
The discussion will be followed by a drinks reception.
