The Dickson Poon School of Law will be entering a team in the 2019 London Legal Walk.

In 2018 13,000 people took on 10k for justice, raising a record breaking £830,000. Can you help us beat it in 2019?

There is no entry fee but we do ask every walker to raise as much sponsorship as they can. If every registered walker aims to raise £75 we could raise £1m to support access to justice in our community.

All funds raised support free legal advice charities in London and the South East that provide free legal advice for those in need across London and the South East – an essential lifeline for those in need, especially in light of Legal Aid cuts in recent years.

The London Legal Walk is a 10km walk, starting at the Royal Courts of Justice and following a route around some of London's best-known legal landmarks. It has become the largest annual gathering of lawyers and the judiciary in the world! Last year over £800,000 was raised and more than 10,000 people took to the streets.

This year the King’s team will be led by Lord Igor Judge, former Chief Justice and a Dickson Poon Distinguished Visitor

We would love as many staff and students as possible to join our team!  If you would like to take part, please sign up via Eventbrite.

All walkers taking part are asked to gain sponsorship through our team page.

If you are unable to take part in the walk yourself, you can still sponsor your friends and colleagues.
