*POSTPONED* Marking Laughton 20 and Corbett 100 Launch

A new date for this event is to be expected later in the year.
The day will mark twenty years of the Laughton Naval History Unit and Laughton Chair at King’s College London. Students, staff and alumni will reflect on progress in the field of naval history, including a sample of latest historical research. Elsewhere panellists will discuss the relationship between naval history and maritime strategy with contemporary debate ranging from politics, foreign policy, culture, defence and strategic studies around the world.
The Corbett 100 project is a joint venture with the U.S Naval War College’s United States Naval War College, John B. Hattendorf Center for Maritime Historical Research. The event starts twenty four months of events, publications conferences marking the centenary of the death of maritime strategist and strategic theorist Sir Julian Corbett.
The day will conclude with a special lecture by the Laughton Chair of Naval History Professor Andrew Lambert.
