Join us to learn more about the NIHR Masters for Research Delivery Leadership (MRDL), a national framework of part-time, bursary-funded, postgraduate certificate, diploma and masters qualifications available to study online at the University of Sheffield, University of Exeter, University of Newcastle and King's College London.

The programmes are designed to help experienced healthcare professionals develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to lead and support clinical research studies and to advance their research careers by gaining the qualifications and experience needed to step into leadership roles such as co-investigator and principal investigator.

Registered health and care professionals who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for up to 3 years of funding to complete a postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma or masters degree aligned with the MRDL.

The agenda will cover:

• What the Masters for Research Delivery Leadership programme is
• How to apply for bursary funding via the NIHR (only available for staff based in England)
• What each of the universities is offering
• Hear from students who have undertaken the programme
• A chance to ask questions at the end

This online event will be live-streamed via Microsoft Teams and will introduce the universities involved in delivering the programme, give an overview of the programmes available, and detail the eligibility criteria and application process for both the programmes and the bursary funding. You'll also hear the student view of how undertaking the qualifications fits around work and home life, and the impact on their careers.
