In this second workshop, we look at the impact of technological innovation across the financial sector, notably commercial banking, central bank digital currencies and (global) stablecoins, crypto-securities, distributed financial market infrastructures, and regulatory sandboxes/innovation hubs. The aim is to ascertain to what extent DLT/blockchain is currently utilized within the financial sector and to better understand the technology’s potential for the future, also with a view to crisis management and insolvency.
