Have disparities in who’s contracted the virus, who’s lost their jobs in the economic fallout, and which areas have been worse hit prompted a rethink on the need to make Britain a fairer place?
And what kinds of inequalities are Britons most concerned about right now? If the public think that inequalities are large and growing, and crucially, that they are unfair, this can undermine faith in political and economic systems as a whole.
