Vocations Group with Romana Kazmi, Muslim Chaplain - 8 December 2021

Please note that this event has passed.

One of the Dean's roles in King's is to encourage and foster vocations to the Church of England priesthood as well as helping people to discover what God is calling them to do.

King's College London has a long and proud tradition of preparing people to serve God in Christian ministry, and in other forms, and we hope to encourage this through the Vocations Group.

Join us in the Strand Chaplaincy room (K2.34) to hear Romana Kazmi, Muslim Chaplain at King's. Romana works part-time with us, and when she’s not at King’s she works as part of the Chaplaincy team at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.  She will be sharing some of her story with us, talking about living in different countries and how she came to be involved in Chaplaincy ministry.  If you know of others who you think might be interested in hearing Romana, do please share the details.

Our College Chaplain, the Revd Tim Ditchfield FKC, will be preaching at the College Eucharist in the Chapel at 1.10pm on the theme of 'Intersectionality' as part of our 'Living out Faith on Campus' sermon series, and there will be lunch in the Chaplaincy room between the service and the Vocations Group meeting. All are welcome!
