Our BA degrees offer you the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge and deep understanding of cinema and other moving images, the people and societies who create them, and the critical tools that reveal their meaning.

Our unique central London location will put you in easy reach of a wealth of cinema and media experiences, including the BFI Southbank, the IMAX, and Leicester Square. Immerse yourself in the thriving visual culture of this global city.

Our courses cover a worldwide range of cinema and media, both contemporary and historical, although we have particular strengths in the cinema and media of Europe, East Asia, and North America. Our courses encompass both mainstream, popular cinemas and experimental or avant garde traditions and practices, as well as television, video and digital video. Our teaching staff are leaders in their field, many of them internationally renowned for their specialist expertise.
