Studying geography at King's enables you to examine some of the key issues facing the world today, including climate change, environmental degradation, sustainability, global inequality and urban regeneration.

The department's teaching and research covers human and physical geography and engages with policy development at global, national and local scales, in relation to pressing environmental, urban and social issues, such as climate change, water disasters, smart cities, international development and social justice.

Our alumni have taken up careers in a broad range of sectors, from London's financial services industries to non-governmental organisations in areas such as development and environmental justice and more. King’s Careers Service and our central London location ensures  that a very high percentage of graduates find suitable employment on leaving the programme.
