Prof Evelyn Welch, Senior Vice-President, thanks research staff for their invaluable contributions towards making King's College London a world leading research institution in her plenary talk below.

 

Dr Kathy Barrett, University Lead for Research Staff Development, introduces the Centre for Research Staff Development in the video below. 

 

Prof Sophie Scott, Deputy Director of UCL's Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, delivers the keynote address about the science behind laughter in this talk.

 

Prof Ed Byrne, President and Principal, endorses the importance of professional development in building a successful career in the final plenary talk.
