Academic Coordinator: Prof. Sasi Conte
Facility Manager: Dr. Andrew Atkinson
The NMR Facility aims to provide King’s research scientists with access to state-of-the-art nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers equipped to address a range of problems of biological interest. The Facility supports researchers by maintaining a pool of expertise in biomolecular NMR spectroscopy and providing training and assistance as required.
The NMR Facility is located in the basement of the Wolfson Wing, Hodgkin Building on Guy's Campus. The recently refurbished laboratory houses 400 MHz, 600 MHz, 700 MHz and 800 MHz NMR spectrometers, equipped for a range of applications. The refurbishment of the laboratory and the purchase of the 600 MHz and 800 MHz NMR spectrometers were enabled by a Multi-User Equipment Grant from the Wellcome Trust, an Infrastructure Grant from the British Heart Foundation and King's College London
