Qlucore Omics Explorer
Qlucore Omics Explorer
Omics Explorer is a software package used for analysing multivariate datasets common to 'omics'-type studies. It uses advanced statistical tests, such as ANOVA to generate filtered lists of significantly regulated genes or proteins, and can take account of, for example, batch effects.
Qlucore favours a very visual easy-to-use analysis experience, using automated Principal Components Analysis (PCA) plots to explore the sub-structures in your datasets. It also enables very rapid and intuitive data analysis through the innovative use of slide bars.
Please download the trial version from the Qlucore website; it also comes with demo data and a tutorial to learn how to use the various functions and tools.
Accessing Qlucore Omics Explorer
The software can be used on any PC on the College network, via a site licence. This means you have a local installation of the program, which uses a networked license file. To gain access to the program, please contact us at genomics-centre@kcl.ac.uk.
We can also offer a training package tailored specifically to your own needs and data type. Please contact us for more information.
Don't forget to check out GeneGo MetaCore for the functional analysis after programs like Qlucore Omics Explorer have helped you to identify your significantly regulated genes.
