Timea completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her currentresearch interests include the impact of pricing strategies used by the tobacco industry in responseto tobacco taxation, particularly among socio-economically disadvantaged groups, and smoker'sattitudes to and patterns of use of e-cigarettes. Prior to joining the KCL Addictions department in2015, she worked as a researcher in the Tobacco Control Unit of the Cancer Council Victoria.Some of her previous research projects included examining the predictors of longer-term quitting,the impact of cigarette packet health warning labels, and Australian smokers' responses to the newplain tobacco packages.
