The Section of Women's Mental Health run a number of events and training programmes. Find out how to take part in them below.

Women's Mental Health Research Summer School

This 3 day course, starting 3rd July 2019, is designed and taught by members of the Section for Women’s Mental Health and provides an introduction to research methods relevant to investigating risk factors and effectiveness of interventions for women’s mental health problems.

The course will be of interest to individuals working in mental health and other health services (including midwifery, health visiting, and primary care), non-governmental organisations, policy, or research settings (including public and private sector) who are keen to learn more about women’s mental health.

Workshop: Effectiveness of Services for Mothers with Mental Illness (ESMI)


The annual ESMI stakeholder workshop is free to attend for all study champions, CSOs, local collaborators and other staff members contributing to recruitment of the ESMI programme. The next and final stakeholder workshop will take place in September 2019 - further details to follow.
