KCL ISPOR student chapter
The ISPOR Student Chapter was registered on October 2018 by PhD students at King’s Health Economics, King’s College London. It is a student-led society aiming to bring together all students interested in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) at King’s and throughout the greater University of London by providing events and facilities, such as workshops on academic and professional development, guest lectures with speakers from both academia and industry, debates on hot topics in health economics, and networking opportunities.
Our chapter’s mission is to:
- Provide an environment where students can share and gain knowledge in HEOR.
- Serve as a bridge in bringing together students interested in HEOR and members of industry, health-related organizations, and academia.
- Act as a resource for new students interested in HEOR.
- Provide an opportunity for student chapter members to become familiar with the affairs of ISPOR as well as have representation in its affairs.
Past events we have organised include a workshop on networking skills for conferences and a discussion on how Brexit will impact on the NHS.
