Aisha Ofori

Aisha Ofori is a Research Assistant on the Resilience, Ethnicity and Adolescent Mental Health (REACH) study. Aisha has an MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences from UCL and a BSc in Psychology. She completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Enhanced Evidence Based Practice, providing low intensity CBT informed interventions for young people with anxiety or low mood, as part of the CYP IAPT programme.

Aisha has previously worked in Children’s Social Care Services, supporting young people in care and families at risk of family breakdown. She has also worked with adolescents with eating disorders in a specialist inpatient unit and adults with depression, insomnia and anger difficulties in the NHS. Her research interests include ethnicity, young people’s mental health and human trafficking. She is also interested in how data visualisation and graphic design can be used to increase public engagement in research.
