Charlotte Gayer-Anderson

Charlotte Gayer-AndersonDr Charlotte Gayer-Anderson is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow whose research focuses more broadly on the combined role of childhood adversity and protective factors in the development of negative mental health outcomes. Charlotte’s initial work involved exploring the mediating and modifying role of social support in the association between childhood abuse and psychotic disorder. Charlotte is now extending this work, thanks to a Peggy Pollak Fellow award (Psychiatry Research Trust), to explore the social and psychological factors that increase and decrease the risk of unfounded paranoia amongst adolescents, using Virtual Reality in the REACH Study.
