Title of your PhD: From knowledge to policy: Understanding mental health as a policy priority in the context of low and middle income countries
Nicole Votruba is part-time PhD student and researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry of King’s College London. She works for the Centre for Implementation Science (CLAHRC South London) and coordinates the King’s College led FundaMentalSDG global intiaitve to strengthen mental health in the UN SDGs. Her background is in international relations and international law. Her PhD project analyses research evidence and policy interrelations in mental health in low and middle income countries. Her research aims to contribute to improving mental health research and policy interrelations, and to add answers to the question: How can mental health gain more traction on the policy agenda?
