Travelling by Public Transport

The nearest train station is the Denmark Hill train station. Buses that go directly to Denmark Hill include buses 35, 40, 42, 45, 68, 176, 185, 345. Easy access buses run on the 42, 45, 68, 345 and 468 routes.

Please note that if you wish to come by rail, Denmark Hill train station has no wheelchair access.

 Please note that there is on-street pay-and-display parking on De Crespigny Park and a car park at the Maudsley Hospital.There are spaces for registered disabled drivers. A Blue Badge must be displayed to use these spaces.

Lift to the 1st floor. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available in the unit.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday


  • The unit is situated on the first floor of Mapother House, De Crespigny Park, which is off Denmark Hill, opposite King’s College Hospital. There are 2 lifts available for your use
  • Please note there is currently no reception staff on the ground floor. There is a phone if you need to dial us for assistance and direct number is 5075
  • Once you arrive on the first floor, please ring the bell at the entrance to the unit for entry and check in at the reception desk. We have a waiting room with a water fountain
  • On the ground floor as you enter there is a drinks machine. Please note there is nowhere in Mapother House to buy food. The nearest cafeteria is inside the main building of the Maudley Hospital, and there are many cafes and restaurants in Camberwell that are within a five-minute walk from the Unit.
