People in the Department
The Department of Psychology at King's is a large a thriving group of academics, researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate students, technical and professional services staff. We have (currently) 17 Professors (plus 3 Emeritus), 4 Readers, 6 Lecturers and 12 Lecturers, with 15 Post-doctoral, 26 graduate Research Assistants, 38 PhD students and 68 clinical doctoral trainees. These numbers are expected to grow further in the coming years as we expand the teaching and research expertise to meet the needs of our new BSc.
All academic staff are research active, working in collaborative teams and research groups within the Department and across the Institute of Psychiatry, with NHS partner organisations and with other researchers throughout the UK and internationally. Their outstanding international reputations, unique, sought-after expertise and contemporary experience have made our teachers leaders in their fields.
