This 3-day course on e-mental health provides a comprehensive, evidence-based and practical introduction to the growing field defined by the interface of technology and mental health.

This course on e-mental health provides a comprehensive, evidence-based and practical introduction to the growing field defined by the interface of technology and mental health. Developments in this area hold promise to improve coordination, quality, personalization, and geographical reach of care, as well as some novel, potentially transformative innovations. A wide range of topics will be covered, including internet-based psychological interventions, smartphone apps, the use of wearable devices, and virtual reality applications within research and treatment. Hands-on experience with the technologies will be an integral component. It will appeal to a broad range of researchers and clinicians, including postgraduate and doctoral students and mental health professionals wishing to further their knowledge and experience in a cutting edge field.

There are no fixed pre-requisites except a basic grounding in mental health issues and an open-minded and enthusiastic attitude!
