Visiting/Honorary academics, teachers & researchers
Academic visiting appointments
For professors, senior lecturers or lecturers holding a substantive appointment in another higher education institution (HEI) or research organisation who have made a commitment to contribute to both research and teaching activities at the IoPPN
Non-academic visiting appointments
For teachers, researchers or associates holding a substantive appointment in another higher education institution (HEI) or an equivalent research organisation; or a service provider who will make a defined regular commitment to teaching, research or expert advice or support to IoPPN activities.
KCL Honorary titles (Clinical Teachers)
For non-University staff who are clinical Consultants, GP Principals or equivalent senior healthcare professionals making a significant clinical teaching contribution.
Research experience schemes
Work experience for GCSE school children
For school children studying at GCSE level who are seeking a general understanding of a relevant work setting though supervised work experience activity over a short period of time.
Visiting student appointments
For students registered for undergraduate or postgraduate study at a recognised UK or overseas higher education institution (HEI) who wish to obtain research experience in a field complementary to their studies and who are not eligible for the Erasmus+ traineeship of visiting research student schemes.
Visiting researchers (research experience)
For post or pre-doctoral researcher/research workers not registered as students and not employed by an higher education institution (HEI) or equivalent organisation who wish to obtain a short period of experience in a research environment with access to expert advice and research facilities.
