NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre and King's College London 3-year PhD studentships

Up to eight fully-funded 3-year PhD studentships to applicants with backgrounds in: neuroscience, psychology, biological science, social science, physical science, epidemiology, mathematics, applied and health statistics; bioinformatics and computer science; data science; machine and deep learning; natural language processing.
These studentships are open to Home/EU fee status students. Unfortunately we cannot accept applications from non-EU/ overseaes candidates.
These awards are jointly funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) through the Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and King’s College London (KCL).
The Maudsley BRC is a collaboration between the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London – the largest collection of researchers in Europe investigating mental disorders, and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust – a leading mental health trust with a long tradition in joining clinical and academic excellence.
Our aim is to pioneer multidisciplinary translational research and experimental medicine in the areas of mental health and neuroscience.
