Education Support Team at the IoPPN
The Education Support Team (EST) is based at the IoPPN, and leads on events such as open evenings, enrolment and induction.
For taught students your Programme Administrator will be a member of EST and will be your first point of contact for most queries relating to your programme of study. For research students, EST has a dedicated Postgraduate Research team to help with all aspects of administration relating to your PhD.
Watch our video to find out more about EST and the support we offer:
Every student at the IoPPN is assigned a Personal Tutor - an academic member of staff who is available to advise you on academic and non-academic queries you may have.
King's College London Student Union (KCLSU) has a dedicated presence at the Institute of Psychiatry. KCLSU officers are on site 8 hours a week to provide students with advice and to give support with arranging social events and setting up societies.
The IoPPN also has its own Student Forum, with all current students being given automatic membership. The Student Forum meets three times a year with all student representatives attending. This ensures that any problems encountered on programmes can be highlighted and brought to the attention of relevant staff members as soon as possible.
